THE SELF CARE SERIES with Molly Haight
“how you love yourself is
how you teach others
to love you”
― Rupi Kaur
In this four class series, we will explore the healing benefits of yoga and acts of self care. Yoga is it's own form of self care but how does this practice translate off the mat? We will explore our relationship with our day to day activities and patterns, our relationships and how we indulge and take time for ourselves. Classes will consist of a yoga practice, discussion and journaling. You can expect to dive deeper into your yoga practice, develop a strong breathing practice, connect with your female community and leave feeling refreshed with new ideas on how to take self care off your mat. Each week we will explore a new theme around yoga philosophy, breath and self-care.
*women and female-identified persons only please
Molly Haight is a yoga teacher in Oakland, CA. She also leads monthly new moon circles for women. When she started practicing, Molly was disconnected from most things - her body, her emotions, the world around her and especially the natural rhythms of the world. Yoga brought Molly a sense of groundedness and confidence in her body and in herself and has given her the tools to take care of herself day in and day out. She has completed over 500 hours of training under her teachers Annie Carpenter and Stephanie Snyder. Molly is also a certified Wild Woman Project moon circle leader. Hailing from a world of practicality and years of studying journalism, she believes in finding the perfect balance between magic and reality.
